LED Stanchion / Rail Sockets

Description

Perfect for power boat but especially suited to sail boats where it's often difficult to locate courtesy lighting. No longer must an owner reply solely on spreader or mast lighting when at the flick of a switch, the whole deck will light up. Also useful for night passage sail changes at sea!

Our LED Stanchion / Rail Sockets will auto select and work with any voltage between 9 and 28 volts. The provided cables running through a specially designed hollow stud, this means that no extra holes need to be drilled to accommodate the power supply, adding to its practicality.
The M16 suds have been load tested to 250kgs and the sockets come with rubber "O" Ring fitted in a recess in the base to form a seal. LED Modules are removable from the front, even after installation, for an easy replacement should a failure occur.

Also available, is an optional base plate which not only gives a finishing touch but will prevent "GRP Gel Crazing" around the bases if the stanchions are used to aid crew when climbing aboard.

We also supply these units in 25mm and 32mm as blanks. i.e. no LED lights fitted, so that areas not requiring illumination can use the same design of socket.
