C-Quip take on ECOVER Boat Cleaners.

The directors of C-Quip Ltd were proud to announce an agreement with ECOVER for the distribution of their new environmentally friendly boat cleaner and polish during the 2007 Southampton Boat Show.

Mike Golding, skipper of the IMOCA 60 bearing the name ECOVER, was at the show to support the product launch and accept a humanitarian award for his rescue of Alex Thompson during last years Velux 5 Oceans Round The World Race. Mike also had a visit at the show from the Princess Royal to officially name his new ECOVER sponsored IMOCA 60 yacht ready for the start of the TRANSAT JACQUES VABRE 2007 starting on the 3rd November. Everyone at C-Quip wishes Mike the very best of luck!

INNOVATIONS AWARD WINNERS 2007

The Directors of C-Quip Ltd are proud to have won the 2007 Boating Business Exhibition Innovations Award for their new 'Super Soaker'.

The award was presented by Robin East, a director of Marine South East, which sponsored the Innovations Showcase through its Marine Skills Centre and Jane Wilson who is the BBEX Exhibition manager and organiser. The Super Soaker fought of some stiff competition from other entries but the simplicity of the 'WATER from OIL' soaker won the day. The product was developed along side our new Cleana Marina range that takes OIL from WATER. During the process of creating this innovative range of products we considered the idea of removing WATER from OIL and thus creating a diagnostic tool as well as a way of rectifying the problem of 'dirty fuel'.

Management Buyout of C-Quip Ltd

Ian Cooke & Neil Wood are pleased to announce the completion of a Management Buyout of C-Quip Ltd. As of the 13th July 2006 Neil and Ian are sole owners of the company.

The Boating Business Exhibition (BBEx) is the new exhibition for the UK’s leisure marine trade.

The UK leisure marine business is the second largest in Europe. It is an industry that sells more than £1.98 billion worth of boats, equipment and services each year. For it to thrive and develop, there is a need for a business-oriented meeting place where professionals can get together to find solutions to problems through innovation and expertise.

2005 saw the first BBEx show held in Bournemouth during February and proved to be a great success for C-Quip which is why we were proud to be one of the first to sign up for 2007. We will be taking a number of new products to the show and welcome all present and potential customer to our stand over the two day exhibition.

BBEx is being held in association with the British Marine Federation and the Marine Trades Association.
